1. Cilok

Who doesn't know this delicious food from Bandung? Cilok stands for Aci Dicolok. The shape of this food looks like meatball. It's just that, cilok is made from tapioca flour, meat and eggs. As a result, the cilok texture tends to be chewier than beef meatballs in general.

These best-selling school children's snacks are not only in Bandung. Cilok has started to be sold in school yards in other cities. What makes this cilok taste even better is the mixture of peanut sauce, soy sauce, and chili sauce that is added when you are about to eat Cilok.

2. Es Mambo

On hot afternoons, school children really like to enjoy fresh and sweet drinks. This cheap ice mambo can be a thirst quencher during the day. The process of making ice mambo is fairly easy, namely drinking water is given syrup, then put into plastic, tied with the ends, and frozen in the refrigerator.

No wonder the price of this ice cream itself is fairly cheap. If you miss this one snack, you can make it yourself at home with only the syrup sold in supermarkets and ice plastic which is usually sold in the market.

3. Telur Gulung

The egg roll satay is a best-selling school kid's snack which is a very simple process. Unfortunately, nowadays, egg rolls are less and less found. Even so, in some school yards or shopping center food courts, there are still those who sell this food.

The way to make egg rolls is shaken chicken eggs and seasoned with salt, pepper, and flavorings, then the eggs are slowly poured into a frying pan filled with hot oil. Next, take a bamboo skewer and roll the eggs in the pan onto the bamboo skewers. Egg rolls are ready to be enjoyed with chili sauce.

4. Batagor

Batagor or fried tofu meatballs are one of the most popular snacks for school children. This typical food from Bandung, West Java is made from a mixture of mackerel and tofu dough. Usually, batagor is served with peanut sauce and soy sauce.

But now, the new variant of Batagor has started to be popular and loved by many people. Yup, the new variant is Batagor Kuah. It tastes equally good as dry batagor, you know.
